Great Movies That Deserved Better Than Their Terrible Acting

Chris Tucker - The Fifth Element

Starring Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, and Milia Jovovich, the English-language, French science-fiction film entitled The Fifth Element was released in 1997. Earning $263 million on a $90 million budget, it was (at the time) the highest-grossing French Film within the international box office. The film, as a whole, was given a “thumbs up” by Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel but actor Chris Tucker’s performance as the unapologetically forward talk-show host, Ruby Rhod, was also painfully dismissed. It was so bad that Josh Winning of Total Film listed Tucker’s performance as one of the “50 Performances That Ruined Movies.”
