Kevin Costner - Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Released in 1991, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves starred Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman, Christian Slater, and Alan Rickman. Critics enjoyed the performances of Freeman and Rickman but were bothered by Costner’s lack of attempt at an English accent and his inconsistent acting abilities. Costner’s performance was rated so poorly that he had gone on to win the 1991 Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actor. It’s ironic that the film’s leading actor would become its worst attribute.
