Nicolas Cage - Knowing
2009’s Knowing was praised for its character performances and special effects/ visual styles. The film’s outrageous plot and ending help, rather explain, the poor performance out of Nic Cage. Peter Hartlaub of the San Francisco Chronicle complained of the film’s “surprisingly messy effort.” And because of this issue, he’s not surprised that Cage “borders on ridiculous here, in part because of a script that gives him little to do but freak out or act depressed.”
