Emma Watson - Beauty and the Beast
Disney has begun investing millions into modern-day live-action remakes of their dated animated films. In 2017, the opportunity was given to Beauty and the Beast, breathing new life into the 1991 animated version. Featuring Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, audiences would expect a largely flawless performance from the talented actress. This was largely the case… until it wasn’t. While dialogue scenes carried on without a hitch, it was Watson’s lackluster singing that ruined the experience. Not only that, but her resulting “sounds” were auto-tuned into oblivion.
