The Red Triangle

Located in Northern California north the San Francisco Bay, the so-called “red triangle” is relatively small triangular region. So what makes it so dangerous? Well, a startling amount of shark attacks. In fact, 38% of ALL recorded great white shark attacks on humans have occurred in this area. The sharks are drawn by the large population of marine mammals – including elephant seals, harbor seals, sea otters and sea lions – that frequent the area.
Skeleton Coast

Namibia’s Skelton Coast is like something from a horror movie. The beach is littered with the skeletons of whales and other big sea creatures, as well as numerous shipwrecked vessels. In addition, the beach is home to living predators including lions, elephants, leopard, cheetahs, and even scavenger hyenas.
