A Full Aquarium
One determined traveler attempted to smuggle what can only be described as a full aquarium – including 163 tropical fish, 22 invertebrates, and eels all in plastic bags of water – inside of their carry-on luggage. Suffice to say, they were discovered rather quickly and the animals were released to wildlife services.
Decaying Seahorses
Seahorses are an endangered species, which made this discovery all the more disturbing. TSA agents noticed something odd about a liquor bottle passing through the x-ray machine and quickly discovered that the bodies of five decomposing seahorses jammed into the bottle.
