Volusia County
The beaches on the coast of Volusia County, Florida could certainly give the “red triangle” a run for its shark attack money. There have been over 260 recorded shark attacks in the area since 1987. In 2017 (the last recorded year available) alone, the area saw 19 bites (though it should be noted, no deaths have been recorded in the area).
Clifton Beach
Cape Town, South Africa’s Clifton Beach is one of the country’s most exclusive – and expensive – areas. However, even with the high prices, the area is known to be plagued by crocodiles and shark attacks.
