Hanakapiai Beach

Hawaii’s Hanakapiai Beach is well known – and widely feared – for it’s powerful currents. Over 30 swimmers have lost their lives in the beach’s waters, including 15 of whom who’ve never been found. The beach’s danger factors include powerful waves, high tides, strong rip currents, high surf, and dangerous shore breaks.
Costa Del Sol

The Costa Del Sol region, located in southern Spain near the Province of Málaga, is well known for one thing: Jellyfish. In fact, so many humungous jellyfish were posing a danger to beachgoers that the local government dragged over a tonne of them from the local waters to make them safe for visitors.
